Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role within a recorded music company, along with a four-year degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent work experience. They should be proficient in reading and interpreting artist contracts and artist statements, detail-oriented, a good decision maker, and possess a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

The Artist Royalty Manager will be responsible for maintaining royalty processes pertaining to Artist, Producer, and other sound recording participant accountings, analyzing artist contracts for royalty obligations and preparing contract summaries, entering royalty terms into systems, creating new accounts and linking products, ensuring contract entries are compliant with internal controls, performing expense and recoupment analysis, managing system corrections and royalty adjustments, managing vendor set ups and royalty payments, serving as a point of contact for artist royalty clients, coordinating special projects, and completing period end tasks and payout reports.
