About Universal Audio

Universal Audio specializes in high-quality audio recording and processing equipment. Their main products include Thunderbolt audio interfaces, analog recording hardware, and UAD audio plugins that replicate classic analog equipment. These products are designed for professional musicians, recording engineers, and podcasters who need reliable tools for audio production. Universal Audio's hardware, like the Apollo series, works by connecting to computers via Thunderbolt, allowing users to record and process sound with minimal latency. The UAD plugins enhance audio quality by providing various sound processing options that mimic traditional recording gear. What sets Universal Audio apart from competitors is its long-standing reputation in the industry, dating back to 1958, and its focus on high-fidelity sound. The company's goal is to provide top-tier audio solutions that meet the needs of creative professionals, ensuring they have the best tools to produce high-quality recordings.
