Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a healthcare-related field, along with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in medical billing and/or insurance collections, including at least 3 years of experience with prior authorization requirements, AR & denial management, payer utilization management policies, and appeals.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Revenue Cycle Audits will perform audits and analysis to identify trends and opportunity areas for performance improvement, build auditing templates with effective scoring methodologies, monitor and manage targets for personnel SLAs, serve as a source of knowledge for the revenue cycle team, manage a team of auditors including hiring and training, track outcomes of personnel audits and training, modify workflows and SOPs based on audit findings, work with other teams/departments to streamline processes, establish relationships with other departments and external vendors, coordinate with management on performance trends, develop performance goals and metrics, and develop and manage project plans.
