Requirements

  • Degree qualified in any discipline to a minimum of 2:2
  • British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Able to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively manage critical supplier subcontracts and obligations
  • Develop and maintain long term, open, collaborative and commercially robust business relationships with suppliers
  • Project manage supplier programmes to ensure on time, on cost, on quality delivery of bespoke high value / complexity sub-systems and services
  • Support the preparation, negotiation, implementation and performance of sub-contracts across the entire life cycle of missiles and missile systems
  • Ensure contracts are effectively managed to time, cost, and quality
  • Provide commercial guidance to internal customers
  • Manage risk and opportunity to safeguard the interests of MBDA
  • Undertake subcontract management (including drafting, amending, negotiating and managing terms and conditions) in accordance with applicable legislation and company processes
  • Build and nurture supplier and key stakeholder relationships
  • Lead the internal Multi-Functional Team responsible for the delivery of a sub-contract (consisting of Technical, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Project Management)
  • Hold the Supplier to account for their performance and resolve any issues / conflicts (hardware, services and documentation)
  • Provide commercial guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Generate and implement supplier strategies that deliver value for money
  • Manage risk and opportunity
