Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must complete an interview process to be eligible for selection
  • Ability to work in a team and follow standard operating procedures
  • Basic math skills and entry-level computer proficiency preferred
  • Effective communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish speaking candidates preferred but not required
  • Physical capability to handle job demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (temperatures, dust, noise) with appropriate safety equipment provided

Responsibilities

  • Learn structured curriculum including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), hand and power tools, schematics and symbols, electrical circuits, troubleshooting facility, I/O (Inputs & Outputs), and equipment
  • Gain experience in proper usage of hand and power tools
  • Complete facility projects
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical components
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
