Technical Control Engineer (Site Startup)

Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED, and preferably one year of maintenance experience. They should demonstrate experience in automation preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, trouble shooting, PLC programming, and machine breakdown repair, along with working knowledge of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts and operating safety. Familiarity with relay and programmable logic controllers for mechanical equipment, the ability to understand and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, diagrams, engineering specifications, and operating instructions, and experience performing preventative maintenance and machine troubleshooting are also required.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, overhauling, replacing, remodeling, and performing preventative maintenance for production machinery and equipment. They will observe and test equipment to identify operating problems, delegate or fabricate replacement components, dismantle equipment to identify and repair damaged components, perform preventative maintenance for facilities and equipment, maintain maintenance logs, develop additional technical skills, develop familiarity with ergonomics and assembly processes, maintain work areas, and perform other duties as assigned.
