Requirements

Candidates must be able to read, write, and count accurately, demonstrate sound judgment, and work independently with minimal supervision, maintain strict confidentiality, possess good written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work a flexible schedule or overtime, including shift rotation. They must also be able to work safely with and around 24 Volt, 110 Volt, and 480 Volt electrical systems, as well as operating mechanical systems, and read, comprehend, and interpret technical reference manuals, wiring diagrams, and be trained in Lock-out Tag-out procedures.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyors and balers, and powered industrial equipment, including regular system inspections, smaller adjustments, unplanned electrical and mechanical repairs, electrical and mechanical diagnosis and resolution, control and adjustment of light sensors and switches, exchange and setup of mechanical and electrical wear and tear parts, and various field-related tasks as directed by management.
