Requirements

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. A demonstrated ability to perform basic to advanced mechanical and electrical repairs on pumps, compressors, valves, HVAC equipment, and electrical equipment including VFDs, power systems, and much more is required.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and building, including process monitoring and adjustments, performing preventative maintenance and repair of all plant equipment, and conducting daily inspections of operating sites. They will also be responsible for data entry and report generation, coordinating with other plant employees to ensure adherence to policies, and responding to emergency situations and working in inclement weather as needed, including rotating on-call shifts for plant coverage.
