Requirements

Capable of performing activities with minimal supervision and optimal results, minimally impacting OEE
Ability to perform assigned activities safely without harming self or others
Skilled in installing, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and equipment (e.g., automated packaging equipment, accumulators, assembly equipment, pneumatic tools, motor systems, conveyors, water tanks for product cooling)
Expertise in solving and repairing machinery issues to restore full capacity in minimal time
Proficiency in electrical repairs on machinery and equipment
Ability to diagnose electrical and electronic faults, resolve them, and recommend corrective actions to the Supervisor
Experience working with Manufacturing Engineering and other Maintenance Technicians to ensure efficient machinery operation and implement process improvements
Knowledge of coordinating corrective maintenance with Production Supervisors, Group Leaders, Lead Technicians, and Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineers, including preparing equipment, materials, and parts
Capable of modifying Preventive Maintenance routines to promote continuous improvement
Ability to prepare and condition alternate and peripheral equipment for production lines and services, including installations and modifications
Compliance with Safety policies and regulations, including effective execution of Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO)
Authority and ability to stop any unsafe line/machine/activity or non-conforming product/process that could affect the environment
Adherence to Quality, Environmental, and Safety Systems (TS16949/ISO9001/NADCAP/OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001)
Commitment to continuous improvement in installations, equipment, and 5S in work areas (workshop, tool cart, extrusion lines)
Ability to generate and maintain machine history logs and documentation for traceability

Responsibilities

Responsible for shift personnel performing and actively participating in the installation, repair, and maintenance of production machinery and equipment
Solve and repair machinery problems to return to full capacity in the shortest time
Perform electrical repairs on machinery and equipment
Diagnose electrical and electronic faults, resolve them, and recommend corrective actions to the Supervisor
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and other Maintenance Technicians to ensure efficient machinery operation and implement process improvements
Ensure correct operation of machinery and that safety systems (guards, emergency stops, switches) are in perfect condition
Execute and coordinate corrective maintenance with Production Supervisors, Group Leaders, Lead Technicians, and Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineers, preparing equipment, materials, and parts; modify Preventive Maintenance routines for continuous improvement
Prepare and condition alternate and peripheral equipment for production lines and services, performing installations and modifications
Comply with and enforce all Safety policies and regulations
Follow the Preventive Maintenance format for each machine, correctly reporting findings
Promote continuous improvement in installations, equipment, and 5S in work areas
Generate machine history with documented information and equipment logs for future traceability
Perform activities in strict adherence to Quality, Environmental, and Safety Systems
Effectively execute Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures
Stop any unsafe line/machine/activity or suspected non-conforming product/process affecting the environment, and follow up for correct operation
