Requirements

Candidates should possess at least six months of experience in industrial maintenance, or equivalent certification from a technical school, demonstrating knowledge in industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, plumbing, and welding, with experience or certification in the operation of PLC’s being a plus, and a strong electronic skill set is required.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Generalist will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures, including setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery, learning and utilizing Tyson SAP software for work orders and daily documentation, communicating with team members, producers, USDA personnel, and drivers, performing work-related computations, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. and working on their feet for 12 hours, completing required training, and being willing to tow a water hose.
