Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses over 2 years of experience in ML engineering or data engineering, with a strong background in building video/audio data processing pipelines using serverless GPU infrastructure like Runpod. Proficiency in ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow is essential, as is experience deploying models to inference platforms like Baseten. Familiarity with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB), containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and a passion for video AI, multimodal models, or conversational AI are required.

Responsibilities

This role involves owning model deployment from research to production, including building inference endpoints and optimizing performance on cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining ML services for real-time video processing, ensuring high uptime and low latency. The engineer will also build scalable preprocessing pipelines for video and audio data, architect cloud-native ML systems using AWS and Kubernetes, and automate data annotation processes using AWS Ground Truth and Mechanical Turk. Collaboration with research and product teams to align AI capabilities with user needs is also a key aspect of the role.
