Requirements

Candidates must have 10+ years of backend engineering experience with proven expertise in designing and scaling video platforms, including WebRTC, SFU/MCU architectures, streaming protocols, TURN/STUN, and real-time QoS optimizations. A strong distributed systems background with microservices, APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and event-driven architectures is essential, along with proficiency in backend languages like Go, Java, Scala, or Python. Experience building reliable, fault-tolerant, real-time systems, setting technical vision, influencing strategy, leading complex projects, and communicating effectively with customers and cross-functional teams is also required.

Responsibilities

The Staff Engineer will lead the architecture and development of large-scale backend systems for live video and virtual visits, ensuring high availability, resilience, and low latency.
