Requirements

Candidates should possess hands-on experience with visual and/or audio-visual analysis of human behavior, preferably in conversational settings, and have a strong background in Deep Learning, including foundation models and methods. Essential qualifications include experience building models for real-time analysis and generation with time budget constraints, excellent programming skills with PyTorch, and publications in top-tier conferences like CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ECCV, or ACMMM. A flexible mindset, willingness to work on both research and engineering tasks end-to-end, and a PhD or equivalent experience are preferred. Additional helpful experiences include exposure to large model training (LLMs, VLMs), broader knowledge of generative AI models, strong foundational understanding of deep learning methodologies, and familiarity with software development best practices.

Responsibilities

The Senior Researcher will lead research efforts on generative video models, including Neural Avatar, Talking-Head, and Lip-sync technologies, and other low-level computer vision topics. They will collaborate with the Applied ML team to productionize research findings and stay current with, as well as contribute to, the latest advancements in the field.
