Requirements

Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree in business or a related field, with a Master’s degree from a top-tier school being a plus. Fluency in English is necessary, and proficiency in German is required. Applicants should have at least four years of experience in business development, lead generation, or outbound sales, preferably in a B2B or M&A environment, and demonstrated success with cold calling and outbound prospecting, including confidently initiating conversations with founders and C-level executives. Strong analytical skills and sound business judgment are also essential.

Responsibilities

The M&A Business Development Senior Associate will drive Vencora’s acquisition activities by creatively identifying leads for vertical market software businesses, maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts, developing prospecting campaigns through various channels, and presenting high-potential opportunities to the internal M&A team. They will also gather target company information, qualify opportunities, travel to tradeshows and prospecting trips, and collaborate with remote teams to identify and evaluate potential acquisitions, ultimately contributing to the growth of Vencora’s global software portfolio.
