Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of general logistics coordination experience. Proven ability to implement logistics strategies, improve operational efficiency, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are necessary. Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to maintain confidentiality, proven negotiation and problem resolution skills, and strong time management and organizational skills are also required.

Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate, support, and perform logistics and administrative work for the department, specifically supporting day-to-day study setup operations. This role ensures compliance with company good practices and client requirements, completes ongoing training on regulations for clinical supplies and GxP activities, and participates in department project teams. Responsibilities include overseeing drug product/medical device receipt, ordering, storage, labeling, inventory management, distribution, return accountability, and destruction, while tracking inventories and expiration dates and issuing monthly status reports. The coordinator also arranges supply purchases, maintains metrics reports, sets up and leads meetings for quality issues, investigates and drafts quality events, performs root cause analysis, collaborates with Quality Assurance, manages the group email box, follows up on quality issues, and works with vendors to identify non-compliance, escalating issues as needed.
