Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage several projects at a time
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment (minimal physical activity)
  • Ability to travel less than 40%

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert for logistics processes and analyze transport data to identify projects that drive improved efficiency through costs, including managing routing guide compliance, minimizing premium freight usage, better utilization of equipment, optimal mode selection, and analysis of alternative routing methods
  • Coordinate with Regional/Site stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics service providers to track and expedite shipments to ensure on-time fulfillment, accurate billing, and participate in service provider business reviews
  • Influence the development, analysis, and delivery of metrics/KPI's/dashboards; utilize such metrics to manage the effectiveness of implemented strategies and develop plans for continuous improvement in the flow of inbound/outbound materials between service providers and stakeholders
  • Proactively take action to promote timely delivery
  • Draft and update logistics-related standard operating procedures, work instructions, process mapping, and other governance documents, as well as conduct relevant training for internal groups
  • Support Customs & Trade Management and ESG activities, as necessary
