Requirements

Candidates must possess at least two years of consecutive multi-family property management and leasing experience, along with one year of experience specifically in Washington affordable apartment properties. Familiarity with Property Management software such as Yardi is preferred, and a strong understanding of state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws, and knowledge of Excel, Word Document, and Outlook are required.

Responsibilities

The Tax Credit leasing Agent will assist applicants with the Section 42 application process, process and maintain accurate resident files, work under the direction of the Community Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed, conduct unit walk-throughs for quality assurance, process re-certifications and renewals, ensure compliance with government regulations, create and update the wait list, complete assigned daily, weekly, or monthly reports, attend team meetings, and assist residents with work orders and other home-related issues.
