Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience as a property accountant with commercial or residential management company, along with strong communication skills (written and verbal), excellent organizational skills, proficiency in technology, and leadership skills. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree preferred and be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S., and experience using MRI Software (PMX) is preferred.
The Sr. Property Accountant will prepare monthly financial statements for commercial and residential management clients, reconcile bank statements, post tenant receipts and journal entries, enter invoices into Accounts Payable module, prepare monthly property workpapers, journal entries, accruals, and analyze balance sheet and income statements for unusual activity, reporting to clients and producing financial statement reports for submission to owner/management company. They will also communicate timely with clients and co-workers.
