Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, energy, engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in energy-efficiency or a related field is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools. New Jersey residency is required, and an interest in sustainability with a passion for making a meaningful impact on the environment is desired. Previous experience in contract development and negotiation is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Associate Program Manager will support the Program Manager in the successful delivery of large-budget energy efficiency programs to utility clients per contract terms and program budgets, organizing and tracking program deliverables to submit accurately and on time. They will monitor the energy efficiency project pipeline and develop creative solutions to optimize operations and simplify customer experience, overseeing and organizing a dynamic program operations team to ensure alignment on key deliverables. The role involves effectively coordinating with subcontractors, community groups, and other industry affiliates/stakeholders, managing subcontractor expectations, communications, and resolving issues, as well as interfacing with internal departments such as IT and data analytics to develop efficiencies. Other duties as assigned will also be performed.
