Candidates must possess a valid Veterinary Technician License, and experience as a Veterinary Technician is preferred. Strong knowledge of animal medical terminology and procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and comfort with technology and utilizing new medical equipment are also required.
The Licensed Veterinary Technician will provide routine and urgent care, participate in surgery and dental procedures, educate pet parents, utilize innovative technologies, handle and care for patients, perform diagnostic management, administer medications, respond to emergencies, provide surgical and dental support, maintain detailed records, attend monthly educational events, utilize on-staff specialists, and pilot new clinic tools and AI-assisted technologies.
