The Diagnostics Technical Specialist (DTS) is a field position providing onsite support to veterinary clinics, laboratory research, and veterinary academic settings. They are responsible for the overall business health and customer satisfaction of their assigned territories, assisting with implementation, training, operation, applications, and problem resolution on all veterinary diagnostics products. The specialist focuses on diagnostics implementation, workflow improvements, and increasing product utilization. Anticipated travel within assigned territory (up to 60%-70%).
Responsibilities
Provide onsite technical support to veterinary clinics, laboratory research, and veterinary academic settings.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system problems.
Assist with diagnostics implementation and workflow improvements.
Increase utilization and adoption of diagnostic products.
Provide guidance, instruction, and training on the product line.
Conduct product installation and validation.
Complete daily activity documentation, including detailed reports after customer visits.
Collect, analyze, and summarize customer information, including satisfaction data.
Work closely with Area Business Managers (ABMs) and Diagnostic Solutions Consultants (DSCs) to provide customer service.
Identify and report opportunities for additional analyzers and new customer referrals.
Understand general veterinary clinic operations, including diagnostic applications, financial limitations, training requirements, and workflow processes.
Create and deliver training presentations effectively.
