  • Successfully completed studies with a focus on purchasing/SCM or a comparable education with professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the purchasing team across locations
  • Planning and organization, as well as optimization of workflows
  • Delegation of tasks, as well as resource planning and capacity management
  • Setting area-specific goals and further development of employees
  • Selection and assessment of employees (m/w/d)
  • Development and implementation of a purchasing strategy in coordination with the operational purchasing in Weilheim and the SCM management
  • Optimization, standardization, and ensuring the purchasing process
  • Supplier selection and management (negotiations with suppliers, monitoring of their performance, and securing delivery reliability & quality)
  • Ensuring timely orders and deliveries, as well as inventory management to optimize storage costs
  • Monitoring of the purchasing budget, analysis of cost development, and implementation of measures to reduce costs
  • Participation and management of projects with the aim of continuous process improvement using the CL tools
  • Creation and reporting of monthly key figures (location figures, company figures)
  • Support of the subordinate department in case of bottlenecks (order processing, clarification...)
