Requirements

Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and be admitted to practice law in Costa Rica, with a strong focus on employment law. They should have at least three years of experience practicing employment law, preferably within a corporate or international environment, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of Costa Rican labor legislation and regulations.

Responsibilities

The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support across the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while mitigating risk. They will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, customer contracts, and partnership agreements. The Legal Counsel will also ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including labor laws, data protection, and industry-specific regulations, and support corporate governance activities, including board meetings and shareholder resolutions.
