Responsibilities

  • Review investor and third-party communications, including marketing materials, due diligence responses, and investor communications
  • Train and supervise staff in conducting marketing compliance reviews
  • Manage the Legal and Compliance (L&C) relationship with various business lines and products
  • Attend client meetings to discuss Blackstone products and address client questions
  • Serve as primary counsel to the business, advising on investor legal and compliance-related requests
  • Develop internal policies and procedures related to marketing and compliance
  • Develop educational materials and trainings for business professionals on marketing and fundraising regulations
  • Assess current and prospective regulatory risk through industry interaction and research
  • Assist with other day-to-day L&C matters and collaborate with legal and compliance teams across Blackstone’s global operations
