About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Contract-to-Hire Lead Technical Recruiter with early-to-mid stage startup experience to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to a co-founder, you will partner with senior leaders to manage our most complex and critical technical searches, including executive hiring. You will also mentor and coach junior team members as we continue to grow. At Jerry.ai, recruiters are central to shaping the future of our organization, and we are committed to perfecting our craft to bring in stellar talent. This is a full-time contract position with the potential for permanent employment based on outstanding performance.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Own end-to-end recruitment for mid-to-senior level searches across various business areas, including product management, software engineering, data science, product design/research, and creative production. This includes executive leadership hiring.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate closely with hiring leaders in the U.S. and Canada to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies aligned with team growth needs.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and support junior members of the recruiting team.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review, reflect on, and iterate our recruiting and interviewing practices to ensure efficient use of team time without compromising quality.

Ideal Profile

  • Experience: 7+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on product and engineering roles, demonstrating progressively increasing complexity in search assignments.
  • Startup Background: Prior experience recruiting at a fast-growth startup, preferably in product management, product design, or business operations.
  • Performance: Proven track record of success in high-velocity, output-driven, and demanding environments.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Graduate degree in an intellectually rigorous discipline.
