Requirements

Candidates should possess experience with ITSM, knowledge of Windows Systems (Client and Server), experience with Cloud infrastructure AWS/AZURE, experience with Intune deployment, troubleshooting skills, experience managing a virtualized infrastructure, understanding of networking concepts (WAN,LAN,TCP/IP,VPN,VLAN), working hours flexibility around infrastructure upgrades and migrations, and a background in large-scale migration projects and operating system upgrades.

Responsibilities

The Lead Systems Administrator will manage sysadmin operations team of 8+ engineers, manage the IT ticketing system, ensure all tickets are assigned and tracked under SLAM, manage Office365 environment, ensuring optimal setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting practices, utilise Intune for mobile device management and application deployment across the organisation, onboard and guide new hires, train the sysadmin team on IT infrastructure/systems, manage and administer the local and global infrastructure, develop best practices and ensure documentation is up to date, provide expert technical support, guidance and training to team members and end-users, work closely with the IT management team on managing the IT Roadmap, participate in change management workflow, troubleshoot and remediate issues impacting server availability, manage backup and storage infrastructure, manage and maintain monitoring to ensure systems uptime and reliability, participate in infrastructure upgrades and migrations, ensure adherence to IT security standards and best practices.
