Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales experience, with cold calling experience a must
  • Enterprise sales and account management experience extremely preferred
  • Ability to build relationships with multiple decision makers across multiple levels of an organization
  • Strategic mindset to navigate gatekeepers, multiple decision makers, and barriers
  • Ability to use consultative, benefits-based selling to demonstrate value to multiple business partners
  • Self-starter with strong self-motivation and effort in a fast-paced, less structured environment
  • Excellent pipeline management skills to handle multiple lead types and a growing book of business

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new franchises, marketing agencies, and nationwide professionals using inbound and outbound lead sources
  • Become an expert in the Thumbtack product to provide successful onboarding for new pros and effective service/support before handing off to Account Management
  • Share new ideas and offer improvements to existing strategies
  • Maintain positive relationships with pros, guide them through successful experiences, and identify expansion opportunities in additional service categories or locations
  • Collaborate with frontline managers to strategize individual accounts during sales cycles and retention, providing feedback and ideas
  • Manage pipeline effectively to navigate multiple lead types and grow book of business
  • Achieve KPIs through hard work and self-motivation
