Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and demonstrate at least 5 years of product management experience, ideally within a digital media or technology company. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams are essential, along with experience in designing and launching new features. Familiarity with A/B testing, user research, and data analysis methodologies is required, as is the capacity to work effectively across time zones and travel internationally up to four times per year between 15:00 UTC and 18:00 UTC.
As the Lead Product Manager, Reader Growth, you will be responsible for leading the development of modern and engaging Wikipedia learning experiences on both the desktop and mobile websites, driving a cross-functional team to build and deploy features and experiments, designing lightweight experiments, tracking and communicating progress, maintaining planning artifacts, and collaborating with Communications, Marketing, and Legal functions. You will proactively conduct conversations with volunteer communities to brainstorm and gather feedback, and adapt plans as needed, while also maintaining an understanding of current developments and innovations in knowledge seeking and industry best practices.
