Requirements

Candidates should have 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles with hands-on experience in GCP and Azure, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Crossplane, Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize. A strong understanding of CI/CD automation, GitOps workflows, multi-tenant architecture, and infrastructure standardization is required, along with experience in observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and InfluxDB. Deep knowledge of DevSecOps, security-by-design, and compliance automation, plus proven leadership experience and excellent communication skills are essential. Nice to have experience with GenAI/LLMs in engineering workflows, policy-as-code, compliance frameworks, and fast-paced, product-led engineering environments.

Responsibilities

The Lead Engineer will lead the vision and implementation of platform engineering strategy across GCP and Azure, designing and scaling multi-tenant Kubernetes infrastructure with security and configurability at the core. They will own and evolve CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, Crossplane, Terraform, Kustomize, and Helm, implementing GitOps workflows for consistent deployments. Responsibilities include improving infrastructure reuse, reducing environment sprawl, optimizing cost efficiency, building observability frameworks, championing DevSecOps by embedding compliance and security as code, and developing reusable templates, internal tools, and self-service capabilities to boost developer productivity. The role also involves collaborating with product leaders and architects to align infrastructure goals with business outcomes and mentoring engineers to promote a culture of automation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
