Responsibilities

  • People Management: Lead and mentor a team of 5-8 individual contributors, setting expectations, providing development opportunities, coaching, conducting 1:1s, and holding team members accountable for results.
  • Infrastructure Ownership: Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines, incident response processes, observability tooling, and infrastructure standards to support fast, safe, and sustainable software delivery.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with engineering, security, and product stakeholders to align infrastructure work with strategic goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Enforce operational excellence and manage infrastructure cost optimization.
  • Reliability Efforts: Lead critical reliability efforts that power the broader organization.
  • Modernization: Provide people leadership, technical direction, and process discipline to modernize deployment practices, balancing legacy systems with cloud-native architecture.
