Candidates should possess 7-10 years of experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with a strong background in product-based companies (Startups/Scaleups). They require a master's degree in computer science, demonstrated leadership in project development, adherence to system security best practices, proficiency in coding and scripting, detailed knowledge of web and application servers, familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems, and experience with containerized platforms and orchestration. AWS Certification is considered advantageous.
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, the candidate will manage code deployment, configuration, and monitoring to ensure high service availability, latency management, and effective change and capacity management, utilizing SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs. They will proactively resolve issues through robust monitoring and logging practices, implement automation to streamline operations, define system reliability standards, collect and share data with development teams, act as a configuration manager, optimize cloud resources, reduce spending, and deploy and maintain monitoring tools. The role involves expertise in version control systems, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Git repository management, Infrastructure as a Service (Terraform), Shell scripting and Linux OS, database configuration, and familiarity with the ELK stack, AWS services, Airflow, Helm Charts, AWS SageMaker, and MLOps.
