Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics, etc., and follow them with precision
Good understanding of quality control principles
Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Experience and ability in using hand tools
Responsibilities
Place, hang, or unhang manufactured and/or purchased component pieces of the company’s products efficiently in conjunction with departmental functions
Be familiar with product routings, Bill of Materials, and job set-up charts
Keep and record accurate part numbers and counts of pieces as needed
Perform all diversified department operations, including handling heavy products, while meeting satisfactory performance requirements
Continuously safely perform all required tasks, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures
Take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards
Perform operations to close tolerances and inspect parts for conformity to quality standards, including component defects and operation of all working parts
Take an active role in caring for equipment to prevent breakdowns and defects, and help increase overall equipment efficiency through 5S, TPM, and other Lean Manufacturing initiatives
Maintain good housekeeping and complete other assignments as directed by the Supervisor
Work overtime as requested and posted by management
