  • Intermediate Computer Skills

  • Knowledge of IPC J Standards & IPC 620
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Proficiency in soldering leaded, surface-mount, and fine-pitch components
  • Familiarity with ESD control
  • Advanced abilities in wiring, soldering, crimping, and assembly functions
  • Ability to produce an acceptable quantity of work in a timely manner with limited supervision

Responsibilities

  • Fabricating high-quality test systems based on detailed engineering specifications
  • Performing initial assembly, soldering, rework, and debugging of PCB assemblies and prototypes
  • Providing hands-on technical lab support throughout the entire project assembly lifecycle
  • Ensuring system-level wiring and assembly meets exacting standards
  • Maintaining work area and leading in maintaining the Plexus Engineering Solutions Lab to 6S and ESD standards
  • Providing quality products and services to all internal and external customers
  • Supporting the evaluation and improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure best practices are used throughout the functional group
