Requirements

  • Strong creative vision and ability to switch from blue sky ideation to tactical thinking to execute and test ideas efficiently

  • Experience mentoring other designers on design prototyping whilst welcoming feedback
  • Portfolio showcasing range of technical skills, creative use of code, and prototyping skills
  • 5+ years of experience contributing on design teams
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree, or equivalent in related work experience
  • Available for synchronous collaboration 14:00-18:00 UTC (40 weekly hours)

Responsibilities

  • Develop interactive prototypes aligned with product vision, leveraging live data and strong interaction principles
  • Run iterative experiments: define hypotheses and success criteria, prototype, test with users, and synthesize results
  • Work with product and design to prototype and iterate on intelligent workflows and user interactions
  • Distill complex concepts into easy to understand talking points to engage with communities throughout the design process
  • Liaise and confer with the Product Design team to ensure prototypes are aligned and consistent with design system and guidelines
  • Document and provide clear handover materials to the returning Moderator Tools designer
  • Join team meetings on product and functional design teams and share design work for critique at Design team reviews
