Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in oncology
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Innovative, creative, out of the box thinking
  • Willing to work in a small but fast growing, entrepreneurial commercial environment
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory

Responsibilities

  • Implement sales strategies and tactics while regularly monitoring and analyzing the territory’s sales performance to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Facilitate the timely enlistment of newly launched and key products in hospitals and clinics by providing necessary information and support
  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify and capitalize on business opportunities within the territory
  • Develop and execute a detailed territory business plan, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize sales impact
  • Maintain and update customer segmentation, databases, and call records to support effective sales strategies and customer engagement
  • Deliver key promotional messages clearly according to the approved marketing plan
  • Monitor and advise on customer inventories to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking
  • Participate in various promotional activities to increase awareness and interest in oncology products among healthcare professionals
  • Identify and engage potential new customers to expand the customer base while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
  • Develop and build deep specialist product and disease state knowledge in an oncology area
  • Ensure compliance within all activities to maintain the highest standards of patients focused ethical conduct in line with Abbott values
