Requirements

  • Proven experience in Major/Key Account Management with a mix of new business sales, retention, cross & up-selling, preferably within Networking, High Speed Internet Access and/or IPTV
  • Previous sales experience selling to hospitality operations and an understanding of hospitality technology
  • Proven knowledge of current sales techniques and strong working knowledge of developing a sales pipeline and sales development plan
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering new business targets
  • Experience of the Nordics hospitality industry (distinct advantage)
  • Proven interpersonal and networking skills ideally in a similar sales environment
  • Proven communication and team working skills
  • Proven organizational, planning and sales preparation skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Corporate IT systems such as Outlook
  • English and Nordics Languages speaker
  • Passion for sales: Proven ability to architect and drive through sales in a fast-growing company
  • Self-management: Evidence of resilience, drive, self-control and personal presentation
  • Interpersonal Skills: Integrity, reliability and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Owner of the end-to-end value chain for all assigned Key Account clients in The Nordics
  • Ultimate “go-to person/SPOC” internally & externally for all assigned Key Account-related business
  • Manage RFI/RFP processes; grow Key Accounts contribution through new sell, cross-sell and upsell
  • Publish, maintain & grow a Framework Agreement Matrix
  • Actively close deals with assigned chains/ownerships groups/hotels
  • Embody the concept of “Customer Obsession,” work with Operations Colleagues to troubleshoot persistent service issues and execute plans to ensure the highest quality standards are met
  • Meet regularly with your assigned Key Accounts to proactively manage the relationship
  • Report market intelligence on prices, competition, market dynamics, etc
  • Be responsible for the flow of information both up and down the chain
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual new business sales targets
  • Manage the CRM system with customer and opportunity information
  • Work and contribute within the broader sales team, creating and promoting ideas to assist colleagues in the achievement of set objectives
  • Work professionally, effectively and constructively to promote the company
