Candidates should possess a proven track record of generating new business opportunities in the Environmental Field, strong technical expertise with an extensive understanding of environmental solutions, and regulatory compliance, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and the ability to produce high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced work environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook is also required. A minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role is needed, along with a valid Driver’s License and the ability to meet with clients and attend industry events. An equivalent combination of education and 5 years of relevant waste or industry experience is acceptable.
The Key Account Executive will deliver profitable, incremental revenue to their assigned account portfolio, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded. They will be responsible for both new sales and retention of existing accounts, driving the environmental solutions agenda at the highest levels within the customer’s organization, introducing and facilitating the delivery of service offerings, discovering and facilitating opportunities to expand service offerings, and creating and communicating account plans for top accounts to include opportunities and growth plans. The Key Account Executive will also utilize CRM, schedule and document activities, develop customer profiles, create and maintain awareness of market trends, maintain revenue relationships, and complete required paperwork, as well as travel as needed and perform other job-related duties.
