No experience required for Groundperson—training provided (strong work ethic and willingness to learn)
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (all roles)
Strong communication and teamwork skills (all roles)
Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus or preferred (all roles)
2+ years of experience operating a bucket truck or aerial lift preferred (Bucket Operator)
Knowledge of tree species and trimming techniques (Bucket Operator)
CDL preferred or willingness to obtain (Bucket Operator)
2+ years experience operating Jarraff or similar heavy equipment (Equipment Operator)
Mechanical aptitude and safety awareness (Equipment Operator)
Ability to work in various terrain and conditions (Equipment Operator)
Experience in tree care, utility line clearance, or tree work (Foreman and General Foreman)

Responsibilities

Assist with tree trimming, removal, and cleanup operations (Groundperson)
Feed brush into woodchippers and operate chainsaws and hand tools (Groundperson)
Clear debris from work sites and maintain a safe working area (Groundperson)
Support climbers and equipment operators from the ground (Groundperson)
Attend daily safety briefings and follow all procedures (Groundperson)
Operate a bucket truck to access and remove trees/branches near power lines (Bucket Operator)
Work with a ground crew to perform line clearance safely and efficiently (Bucket Operator)
Inspect and maintain equipment and tools (Bucket Operator)
Follow ANSI and OSHA safety standards and company protocols (Bucket Operator)
Safely operate Jarraff and/or other mechanical trimmers to clear vegetation near power lines (Equipment Operator)
Conduct pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on machinery (Equipment Operator)
Collaborate with crew and Foreman to complete daily work plans (Equipment Operator)
Ensure all activities meet safety and environmental standards (Equipment Operator)
Supervise daily operations of the crew (bucket or Jarraff-based) (Foreman)
