Requirements

  • Proven experience as Level Two IT Support Specialist supporting large-size corporate locations in a fast-paced environment (at least 3 years in IT Support role in a team environment)
  • Excellent customer service attitude with creativity in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Substantial experience supporting latest Apple Mac OS and troubleshooting
  • Experience and understanding of Intune for endpoint configuration, security, Windows Autopilot, supporting users and devices
  • Experience with Okta Administrator portal (or similar) for users and applications
  • Experience with JAMF for new hires deployment (PC/Mac)
  • Familiarity with server hardware/software installation and maintenance (e.g., SAN/NAS storage, Network), in coordination with Corporate IT
  • Familiarity with network implementation and maintenance (e.g., routers, switches, wireless), in coordination with Corporate IT
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects/tasks
  • Full understanding of industry practices and Proofpoint policies
  • Security awareness at all times
  • Motivated professional ready to grow career in Helpdesk team

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing operational support including OS releases, upgrades, service packs, bug fixes, security updates, and system changes
  • Build new systems (PC/Mac) and deploy for new hires via Intune and JAMF
  • Serve as Helpdesk support to resolve PC/Mac system issues reported by end-users
  • Troubleshoot problem areas in person, by telephone, or via e-mail in a timely and accurate fashion, providing end-user assistance
  • Ensure adequate customer follow-up communications and timely issue status updates to customers and IT management
  • Create formal mentorship with IT Helpdesk peers to share lessons learned and IT knowledge
  • Network with cross-functional teams (e.g., Facilities) to leverage best practices
  • Assist customers with identifying and specifying hardware/software needs aligned with IT standards
  • Create and update documentation (Intranet FAQs, user guides, SOPs, Knowledgebase) for IT services and applications
  • Identify operational process inefficiencies and provide improvement recommendations
  • Assist server teams with installing network equipment and basic troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with vendors on basic facility issues (e.g., new wiring, UPS tests, network cable runs, cubicle moves)
  • Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC/Mac hardware and equipment for optimal performance
