The Solutions Architect will be responsible for defining the architecture of multiple systems and developing solutions based on WKC predefined processes, guidelines, and best practices to address business requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in cloud engineering and developer productivity platforms and offerings.
• Understanding of WKC predefined processes, guidelines, and best practices.
• Ability to lead the identification, design, scope, and development of technical solutions.
• Experience leading multiple work streams to ensure design, build, and implementation adheres to enterprise vision.
• Knowledge of security, performance, and reliability in cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience driving continuous improvement in developer productivity through automation and tooling.
• Ability to define component stacks, integrations dependencies, and data flows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working with business functions, platform development teams, and other architects.
• Experience with AWS and designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
• Ability to manage program and architectural interdependencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, design, scope, and development of technical solutions for enterprise IT infrastructure regarding cloud engineering and developer productivity platforms and offerings.
• Lead multiple work streams to ensure design, build, and implementation adheres to enterprise vision.
• Drive continuous improvement in developer productivity through automation, tooling, and process enhancements.
• Define and describe component stacks, integrations dependencies, and data flows for technical and business users.
• Serve as a key member of the customer-facing team in helping to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications and services on WKC platforms.
• Work closely with Domain Architects to align solutions with enterprise/domain-wide strategic technology direction.
• Partner with business functions, platform development and delivery teams, and other architects to enhance existing applications or ensure new systems can integrate and seamlessly communicate with other applications.
• Collaborate with other technology teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that address customer business problems.
• Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.
• Recommends policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization and shares best-practice knowledge amongst WFS solutions architect and technical lead community.
• Advise functional and technology leaders to assist in key initiatives, and organizational alignment that supports making informed business decisions.
• Manage program and architectural interdependencies between programs across multiple Squads and the enterprise.
• Facilitate the understanding and adoption of the solution architectures with the capability and service teams.
• Demonstrates accountability, makes timely and appropriate decisions on programs and multiple domains.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures on AWS.
• Collaborate with other technology teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that address customer business problems.
