Candidates should possess 3+ years of related IT experience, knowledge of server operations, infrastructure, web interfaces, and remote access tools, and experience supporting Microsoft environments in a deskside support role. They should also have experience with Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 / O365, Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments, Remote support, PC/printer hardware / VPN / Citrix, Active Directory, Supporting mobile devices, ITIL Incident Management understanding, and knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
The Deskside Consultant will assist all customers with their questions regarding supported software and computing platforms, configure and deploy computer workstations and related equipment, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software, resolve Tier 1 incidents, escalate issues as needed, install applications and peripherals, conduct remote troubleshooting, track and escalate outages, and monitor the performance of the company’s desktop infrastructure.
