Requirements

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role. They should possess excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux. Experience with managing devices via JAMF and Microsoft Intune, and proficiency in writing and executing PowerShell or similar scripting languages are required. Familiarity with Azure Cloud, specifically Entra ID (Active Directory), Windows Server, and Azure is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The IT Administrator will maintain and optimize critical IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security while adhering to HIPAA compliance. Responsibilities include understanding and improving the IT ticket management process with defined SLAs, taking ownership of internal IT and security systems, and developing roadmaps for maintenance and upgrades. They will automate the management of services and devices, support Tier-1 IT tickets, manage vendor relationships, handle day-to-day IT tickets, assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, monitor daily operations, coordinate technology installations and upgrades, select and purchase hardware/software, test and troubleshoot systems, and stay updated on technology advancements and cybersecurity trends. Additionally, they will establish processes for risk assessments, internal audits, and security weakness analysis in collaboration with a compliance team, and educate employees on IT security best practices.
