Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years’ experience as IT Administrator or similar role
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
  • Good resourcefulness, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Monitor IT operations such as applications, email systems, hardware, software, and network security tools
  • Create custom user roles to control access to sensitive information and enforce data security
  • Upgrade, install, and configure new hardware and software based on global/regional directives
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting issues or problems with the applications and systems
  • Install firmware and security updates on servers, printers, and related networking equipment
  • Identify inefficiencies in the organization’s computer network and make recommendations to address weaknesses
  • Train employees and onboard new hires on how to use company systems and applications
  • Ensure that global/regional standards, policies, and procedures are effectively implemented and adapted at the local office
  • Proactively check that systems and processes comply with regulatory and/or global security and risk requirements
  • Maintain the IT asset inventory and conduct periodic physical asset counts to ensure tracking accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain organized records and documentation of all IT-related files, configurations, licenses, and support logs
  • Play a proactive role in network setup, connectivity testing, and IT infrastructure migration during office moves or reconfigurations
  • Assist employees in raising IT service tickets and coordinating access requests or changes in accordance with global processes
  • Prepare for, and participate in, compliance audits, risk assurance visits, business continuity and disaster recovery exercises to meet internal and external stakeholder expectations
  • Liaise with the Regional and IT Team in the procurement of hardware and software
