Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in invoicing, billing operations, accounts payable/receivable, or a similar administrative role. Familiarity with reviewing contracts or service agreements, strong organizational and documentation skills, and proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite are necessary. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote environment is also required. Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar platforms, and knowledge of solar or clean energy service industries are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Invoicing Specialist will manage the end-to-end invoicing process for completed field service work, including monitoring invoice submissions, reviewing invoices against contract terms, and approving or denying them based on compliance. They will communicate issues and discrepancies, request corrections, and send final approvals to Accounts Payable to ensure timely processing. The role also involves interacting with Field Service Providers (FSPs) to drive accountability and visibility in the invoicing cycle, tracking cycle times, collaborating with Partner Account Managers and AP to resolve roadblocks, and proactively following up on delays. Maintaining clear and consistent documentation throughout the process is also a key responsibility.
