Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or a combined minimum of 15 years of higher education and/or work experience. A minimum of 11 years of investment banking and capital markets experience is required, along with at least 4 years of proven managerial experience. The individual should be comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, capable of handling a high level of responsibility, and possess strong credit skills with knowledge of on and off-balance sheet structures.
The Investment Banking Managing Director will be accountable for the financial performance of Investment Banking or Capital Markets mandates, structuring, originating, and executing transactions. They will serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal clients, coordinate Investment Bank initiatives with various bank segments and senior management, and generate, develop, and execute capital advisory solutions to drive revenue growth. Responsibilities include meeting revenue and profitability goals, managing client relationships, maintaining an excellent working knowledge of economic and market conditions, directing the creation of deal materials, overseeing policy and procedure development, problem-solving transaction issues, and directing staff training. The role involves managing a team of Investment Bank professionals, executing talent management, and adhering to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
