About the team and the role:

The International Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and driving comprehensive international marketing strategies partnering with marketing channel authorities and international business development leads that align with our business goals. This role requires a strong collaborator and planner who can work closely with global marketing teams, business leaders, and external partners to ensure successful market expansion. Reporting directly to the Director of Buyer Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a consistent track record in global marketing and a deep understanding of global market dynamics.

The Marketing Department promotes TCGplayer as a brand and drives sales of our products and services. The department is responsible for the long-term planning, strategy, and direction of creative and digital campaigns and projects across multiple channels (internal and external) supporting company strategic priorities and goals. Marketing serves as brand stewards by implementing and evolving content voice and visual brand standards across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies in close collaboration with marketing channel leads to support business expansion goals.
  • Collaborate with various partners and teams to align strategies, tactics, and execution go to market plans across all channels.
  • Establish relationships with and serve as the primary marketing point of contact to international expansion business, technology and product leads as well as global market leads, ensuring alignment and successful integration of marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Design and Copywriting, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all global markets and initiatives.
  • Coordinate all vital services and resources including localization services needed to successfully implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Partner closely with marketing channel leads to run budgets and resources effectively to enhance return on investment and achieve goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and global market developments.
  • Monitor performance, gather feedback and analyze results to refine strategies and improve outcomes as well as prepare and present regular reports on international marketing performance to partners and leadership.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of global market dynamics and cultural considerations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in global marketing with a proven track record of successful market expansion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively across teams and regions remotely.
  • Analytical approach in interpreting data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to adjust quickly.
