Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in capture management, proposal development, or government contracting
  • Proven track record of leading winning proposals valued at $250M+
  • Experience working with DoD and international customers
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, SharePoint)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
  • Eligible to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance after hire

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to execute capture campaigns and proposal development efforts
  • Develop and maintain capture plans, win strategies, and customer engagement plans
  • Facilitate Gate Reviews, Black Hat Reviews, and Price-to-Win workshops
  • Analyze solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) and develop compliant, compelling response materials
  • Manage proposal schedules, writing assignments, and production efforts
  • Mentor junior staff and proposal coordinators, providing guidance and training
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and execution
  • Represent GM Defense in customer engagements and strategic initiatives
