Candidates should possess prior experience with field work, such as construction, security systems, or low voltage wiring, and be comfortable with frequent bending, digging, reaching, climbing, squatting, sitting, standing, walking, driving, and independently lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior knowledge or willingness to be trained to operate and drive a bucket truck is also required, along with comfort driving a work van (Ford Transit) and occasionally a 1 ton pickup truck (Ram 3500) or towing a small trailer.
The Installation Technician will install poles of varying lengths per install specifications, including digging holes, mounting solar panels, affixing license-plate reading cameras, and working on equipment up to 30’ high using bucket trucks and ladders. They will also repair minor breaks in underground irrigation or private wiring, adhere to a daily schedule, provide installation pictures via the Flock field app, perform administrative tasks such as inventory management and reporting, and perform site surveys while interacting with customers to discuss installation options.
