Candidates should possess 3-5 years of inside sales experience within the biotech or life sciences industry, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field. They must excel in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be proficient in using CRM systems such as Salesforce.com. The ability to travel up to 20% and possess solid analytical skills is also required.
The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for positioning and selling Twist Bioscience’s products professionally and creatively within a given geographical region, generating leads through campaigns and events, engaging and qualifying customers, and partnering with the sales team to achieve sales targets. This includes developing rapport with the sales team, identifying and developing leads, prospecting outbound leads, routing qualified opportunities, focusing on strategic opportunities, contacting leads to convert them to revenue, closing sales, and attending customer meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
