Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or at least two years of sales or customer-facing experience, and a High School Diploma or GED is required. Experience in sales, particularly inside sales, is considered a plus, along with strong communication skills including building rapport, active listening, and confidence, and a motivation to exceed sales goals.
The Inside Sales Representative will conduct outreach to service providers via phone nationwide to discuss Angi’s value proposition, overcome objections, and negotiate solutions while building trust. They will coach service providers on effectively building long-term consumers with homeowners, research service providers using available information, and guide them through the background check authorization and approval process, all while meeting and exceeding required sales targets and contract value sales biweekly.
